We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced PR & Communications Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting and executing the PR & communications strategy for all Great Run Company (GRC) events. To thrive in this position, you should have a proven track record at a senior level in the PR industry and possess an extensive network of valuable external relationships. We are looking for an individual who can bring strategic vision and strong industry connections to elevate the GRC events to new heights.

- 3-4 years minimum experience in PR or a similar role.

- Delivered PR at a regional and national level, showcasing the ability to adapt strategies to different scales.

- Proven ability to create, execute, and assess impactful and measurable communications messaging, plans,

and activities from inception to evaluation.

- Experience of managing external agencies to deliver additional support and value.

- An audience-focused approach to communications with a demonstrable ability to adapt messages, tactics, and

channels to suit specific groups.

- Professional qualifications, such as CIPR, IoIC and CIM are advantageous.

- A degree in a related field is preferred but not essential.

- The ability to attend Great run series event weekends as the PR lead.
