English Teacher

Job Title: English Teacher Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 At GSL Education in Leicester we have been asked by our clients to help them find English Teachers for the new academic year starting in September 2024.  There may also be opportunities to start area if possible.  At GSL Education we strive for excellence and high standards and expect them in the staff we recruit as such in order to be considered you will need to be fully vetted and compliant with our standards as well as participate in an interview with one of our consultants. Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver English lessons to students Assess and evaluate students' progress Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning Create engaging and interactive learning materials Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance Required Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification UK QTS Education: Bachelor's degree in English or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Strong command of the English language Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students Passion for education and helping students achieve their potential Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Working Conditions: The role involves working in a classroom setting with students of various ages and abilities. Some additional hours may be required for lesson planning and assessment. The English Teacher will be part of a supportive teaching team within the school
