Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician £40k + Package 6-2, 2-10 We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team at a successful, manufacturing company in Blackpool. Reporting into the Engineering Director you will join a small team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production. Key Tasks: Provide hands on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment Fault finding, diagnosis and repair Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI's Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to Key requirements: Time served Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C&G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND) Experience of maintenance in a manufacturing environment Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of electrical systems and software Improvement mind-set Excellent communication skills A great opportunity to really make your mark and contribute to the development of the engineering function!
