Lead Mechanical Fitter - Overhaul

Due to company growth and increase in workload we are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Fitter to join a leading business based near Alloa. This role provides the opportunity to work on a range of rotating equipment including Centrifugal Pumps, Motors and Turbines. The successful candidate MUST have demonstrable experience working in a similar role overhauling rotating equipment in a workshop environment. Candidates must also be time served in a Mechanical discipline. Hours - Monday – Thursday 8AM – 4.30PM/ Friday 8AM – 3:40PM - Every 4th Friday is given as a day off. OT is available at premium rates with site working 8 – 10 hours per week – Realistic OTE is £50k Role Description * Strip down and report condition of rotating equipment prior to repair * Overhaul of Centrifugal Pumps, Motors and Turbines. * Advise and recommend corrective actions. * Working closely with department Team leaders and Supervisors to ensure all work is carried out in a timely manner and to the required quality standard. Skills / Qualifications * Candidates will ideally be time served in a Mechanical Discipline * Demonstrable experience in overhaul of Rotating Equipment – Pumps/ Turbines/ Motors * Ability to accurately read, review and interpret manufacturing designs, drawing and schematics This vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment Agency
