You will experience these qualities of passion, pride and aspiration in many ways — from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community.The RoleReporting to the SSE Customer Support and Training Manager, you are primarily responsible to provide Aspen petrophysical application support and training to our users within the Europe region.You will be expected to travel on a regular basis to countries in the region, to deliver training and onsite support.Your ImpactResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supporting customers locally or remotely, helping them to obtain and/ormaintain access to AspenTech SSE products, software and workflows.Provide loyalty-inspiring customer service that drives user engagement and sustains product usage.Deliver high-quality training classes, based on the relevant principles ofgeosciences and upstream workflows, to AspenTech customer.Develop and/or maintain customer focused training materials for new releases and new applications in the industry. Participating in the organization and hosting of customer training courses or workshop activities.Correctly using all internal company procedures and systems for supporting, tracking, reporting and escalating issues of greater complexity to higher tier or R&D if needed.Developing long-term relationships with the user base you are assigned tosupport, learning about their concerns and their challenges, and working as a team with our Sales and Solution Consulting teams to solve them with our software.Working proactively with Sales and Solution Consulting teams tosupport regional sales efforts.Expanding knowledge of onsite and remote support standards, troubleshooting techniques, as well as using the company´s knowledge base to better execute tasks.What You'll NeedFirst degree in a Reservoir Petrophysics, Engineering or Geoscience related subject. Experience as a Petrophysicist or in support of petrophysical applications in the E&P industry.Software ability: A good working knowledge of at least one exploration andproduction software suite or similar application.Client interface: Customer care mindset and a proven ability to managecustomer expectations.High level of written and spoken English.Proficient in French language is a plus.Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Prior knowledge of Aspentech applications, in particular Geolog, would be an asset.Experience in Python or Shell scripting is an added advantage.
