HR Associate HybridContract (6 months)Toronto, ON$25/hoursStraight daysJob details:Participates on a team of Human Resources professionals providing a full range of Disability Management expertise, consultation and advice to managers in all aspects of disability management, including injury and illness under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), long- and short- term disability, and return to work matters.Provide program support and coordination for all administrative functions related to the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, as well as Disability Management and Occupational Health & Safety processesBe responsible for aspects of WSIB claims management.Provides assistance to the team on guiding clients with planning, implementing, advocating, promoting and monitoring safety, health and disability management/return to work strategies and programs. Key Qualifications:Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in related discipline, Practical experience in disability management consultancy.Experience and working knowledge of obligations and requirements related to the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.Experience with data management and reporting systems for disability management such as Quatro Safety or equivalent.Good communication and consultation skills at all levels.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain productive working relationships with managers, union officials and external stakeholders.CH123
