About the Role: As a Multi-Site/ Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple gym locations, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of each facility on a daily basis. This is a hands-on role, requiring you to spend the majority of your time within the gyms, working closely with the teams on the ground. Your primary duties will include coaching, mentoring, and supporting the gym management teams to meet operational standards, achieve performance targets, and maintain a consistently high level of service excellence. In addition to staff development, you will be instrumental in driving the growth of the business, improving member satisfaction, and ensuring a consistent quality of service across all locations. Your leadership will be key in identifying areas for improvement, streamlining processes, and implementing strategies that enhance both operational efficiency and the overall member experience. By fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance, you will help ensure that each gym remains a leading destination for fitness enthusiasts, contributing to the overall success and growth of the business. This role requires a proactive, results-driven leader with a passion for fitness, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. Day-to-day management & leadership of the gyms & their teams – you’ll be in the thick of the action, supporting our teams Communicate to all managers in the assigned area. Make sure that all managers have a clear understanding of their targets and KPIs and how to achieve them. Set up gym management plan to ensure expenditure is within budget Routinely monitor and audit performance and measure the achievement of targets, putting in place robust action plans where target performance is not being achieved. Solve problems and provide proper direction to increase profits to the gyms Ensure that all team members are well trained and passed all training processes that they can effectively perform work as per the required brand and business operational standard Coach and develop leadership skills of gym managers and make sure that they can apply knowledge and skills to enhance business performance Hold routine managers meetings, ensuring brand and information is cascaded as required to drive growth and development Ensure PTs and treatment room management is followed and opportunities across the brand are optimised Routinely review bench planning across all sites to delivery growth and development within the team and ensure succession planning Create awareness and recognition to consistently deliver 90% or higher customer satisfaction Monitor and maintain the highest level of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness and safety standards Handle customer complaints and ensure issues or problems have been completely solved Reviewing and assisting with labour scheduling Reviewing gym managers’ performance and implementing development plans and deal with poor performance effectively, as well as create a good working atmosphere in all sites Managing reports, including but not limited to: staff/stock, payroll, customer satisfaction, audits, labour cost analysis, gym cost analysis, membership retention.
