Sewer and Watermain Lead Hand Deficiency

Location: Ottawa and surrounding area

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Foreman in managing and executing sewer and watermain deficiency projects.
  • Lead and supervise a team of workers to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Identify and rectify deficiencies or issues as they arise on site.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with the Foreman and other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
  • Participate in site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sewer and watermain construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques and safety practices.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
