They are looking for a
Maintenance Group Manager
(Chef de groupe maintenance) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Contract type : Permanent contract Occupation : Full time Office location : Fribourg, Switzerland Work model : On-site Spoken languages : French & English Scope of the job : Ensure the proper functioning and continuous improvement of production lines and the company's various technical equipment, as well as manage the maintenance team. Job responsibilities : Apply and enforce safety and hygiene instructions during interventions. Identify and alert in the event of a risk or anomaly to guarantee consumer safety. Manage the maintenance team and lead team meetings. Define the maintenance policy. Manage the maintenance budget. Act as backup for the technical manager in their absence. Oversee the work of external companies, including costing and validation of quotes. Facilitate communication between maintenance team members and customer teams. Train new employees. Analyze breakdowns and establish the maintenance plan for the entire fleet. Participate in studies, implementation, and start-up of production tools and new industrial equipment. Ensure optimum operation of company equipment through: Regular and preventive maintenance On-line controls and adjustments Troubleshooting after diagnosing problems in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and first level automation. Update machine documentation after modifications and complete various registration documents. Ideal Profile: Federal maintenance certificate or its equivalent Fluency in French & English Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the food industry Experience in team management Autonomous, pro-active, responsible, and committed Excellent team spirit and sense of diagnosis Good interpersonal skills, flexible, and proactive Daytime hours
