IRS Engineer - London Location: London Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 pa (depending on experience) Company Overview: Our client are a leading company in the field of Security Systems and Digital television systems, offering a range of services including the installation of Security Systems and IRS systems to MDUs in and around London. Due to company growth, they are looking to expand their team, and are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join them. Role Summary: The Aerial & Satellite Installation Engineer role is varied and involves the installation of various systems including IRS Systems and Security Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Sureveys, Fault finding, and problem-solving. This role requires fast and logical thinking to deliver effective solutions to their customers. The company will also provide additional training on Security Systems. Key Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, and servicing of Aerial and Satellite systems. Handling IRS, SMATV, and data/fibre systems. Fault finding and resolving issues promptly. Conducting surveys. Managing van stock efficiently. Providing direct customer service in a professional manner. Experience & Requirements: Proven experience in Aerial and Satellite installation, maintenance, and service. Knowledge and experience with IRS, SMATV, and data/fibre systems. Fault finding and problem-solving skills. Experience in surveying. Effective management of van stock. Excellent customer service skills. A full UK driving licence is essential. Desirable Certifications: Working at heights certificate. NVQ Level 2 in Signal (Aerial) Reception. CAI Basic Aerial Installation Certificate. CAI Basic Satellite Installation Certificate. Digital TV Systems Resettlement Certificate. Fibre experience is preferred but not essential. Candidate Requirements: Must have and continue to have a valid Right to Work in the UK. Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
