Associate Creative Director

We are looking for a talented Associate Creative Director (Copywriter) to join our team. As Associate Creative Director (Copywriter), you will work with an Associate Creative Director (Art Director) to create advertising campaigns that translate marketing and branding strategies into original, award winning work. You will be the right-hand to our Creative Director teams and will be expected to execute the written aspect of your team’s work with a keen eye for details as well as manage other aspects of your projects.Key responsibilities include:Work from a creative brief to generate clear and original ideas and concepts alongside an Associate Creative Director (Art Director)Produce scripts, all forms of ad copy, and strategic presentations to explain conceptsExplain and support your thinking to team members and creative directorsCollaborate with team members, incorporate feedback and adapt your work with a positive attitudeTake creative lead on projects when appropriateBalance multiple projects and manage your own timeWork under pressure, taking concepts to final execution within tight deadlinesExperience, Skills & Attributes:8-10+ years of experience within a creative agencyExperience working on creatively driven broadcast campaigns is a mustAbility to establish great working relationships with clientsAdvanced understanding of grammar, writing styles, and popular cultureA keen eye for details and accuracyA clear understanding of advertising, ranging from traditional to digital/social campaignsAbility to help mentor junior-level creativesExcellent presentation and communication skillsEnsure that projects are innovative, world-class and respond to client expectationsZulu Alpha Kilo is an equal opportunity employer.
