We are seeking an experienced Senior PHY Development Engineer with strong expertise in physical layer software engineering, particularly within 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies. As a Senior PHY Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team working on high-performance wireless communication systems. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing physical layer algorithms, ensuring robust performance and integration with hardware platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in wireless technologies and DSP who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize physical layer algorithms for 5G NR and 4G LTE wireless systems.
- Implement physical layer features on DSP and hardware platforms.
- Prepare detailed specifications for the implementation and verification of physical layer functionalities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize DSP algorithms and code for high-performance, real-time systems.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in all development processes.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming with expertise in DSP-level development.
- In-depth knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G NR PHY layer signal processing and algorithm development.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards
- Familiarity with DSP architectures
- Proven experience in multi-threaded programming for real-time systems.
