With your engaging smile, warm personality and customer service focus, you will be empowered to curate incredible experiences.Our Guest Service Associates have significant exposure to Evergreen’s regional management, with the opportunity to take on as much responsibility as they can demonstrate capability for. Over time, there may be opportunities to transfer to other Evergreen properties, depending on aptitude / interest.ResponsibilitiesCheck guests in and out of the hotel with warm and engaging serviceAcknowledge guests waiting in lineConfirm rate and type of room while checking guest into the hotelUpon departure, offer a friendly greeting and asks if stay was satisfactoryTake responsibility for any guest inquiries and problemsBe fully versed and competent in all aspects of Front Office operations and provide the highest levels of professional and prompt Guest ServiceAssist in the coordination and blocking of rooms for incoming group and tour arrivalsOther duties as assignedEvergreen is an equal opportunity employer. Past experience in a front desk / other hotel setting is preferredProven ability to work well independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to provide excellent service and exceed expectationsAbility to effectively solve problems and make decisions in real-timeProficient in English language, both verbal & written, with a second language being an assetAbility to handle a multitude of tasks in a busy, dynamic environment while remaining calm and collectiveAvailable to work flexible hoursImpeccable grooming and presentationA degree or diploma in hospitality is an assetNote: The position of Guest Service Associate is physically demanding. The successful applicant must be physically capable of performing repetitive work, as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads.
