About the School A well-respected specialist SEN school in Telford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students can thrive and achieve their full potential. Role and Responsibilities As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the learning and development of students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored learning activities. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, ensuring their individual needs are met. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources. Contribute to the overall well-being and social development of the students. Requirements Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent). Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting. Strong understanding of various SEN needs and strategies to support them. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with SEN. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Why Join Us?
