Document Controller Location: Hybrid (Covering Farnborough, Chertsey, and Wembley) Salary: £35k+ Package About the Company Are you ready to make a difference in the rapidly growing Data Centre sector? The Role As a Document Controller, you'll be the linchpin for our design and construction teams, ensuring that documentation flows seamlessly across multiple sites. Your role will be pivotal in implementing and leading best practices for documentation management, making sure that all data is handled efficiently and securely as our projects expand. Key Responsibilities: Document Control and Management: Oversee the organization, storage, and retrieval of project documents, ensuring they are accessible to all relevant stakeholders. Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage incoming and outgoing documentation, ensuring timely distribution. Document Creation and Editing: Assist in the preparation, editing, and formatting of critical documents. Reporting and Security: Utilize tools like PowerBI to generate reports and ensure that all documentation adheres to the highest security standards. Is This the Role for You? What We're Looking For: Education: University degree in a related field or HND/HNC with site-level experience in Construction Project Management, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: At least 2 years in document, archive, or records management, ideally within the construction industry. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, familiarity with document management systems like SharePoint, Procore, Asite, or Inndex, and experience with PowerBI for reporting. Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Tech Savvy: Experience with AI tools for document management and processing, and an understanding of ISO 19650 standards for information management. Additional Requirements: Ability to achieve security clearance. Full, clean driver's license and own car for travel between sites. Why Join Us?
