Job Description Are you an experienced Buyer looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? This role involves managing raw material purchasing for multiple divisions, ensuring materials meet production demands and customer deadlines. You’ll work closely with operations, planning, logistics, and technical teams to align purchases with production needs. Key responsibilities of the Buyer role include: * Managing raw material stock levels to support production plans * Forecasting and presenting raw material needs to meet sales targets * Ensuring materials are available for production and customer orders * Working with technical teams to ensure material requirements reflect any design changes * Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best price and terms * Publishing weekly reports on delivery schedules * Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate orders and inventory levels Skills & Experience To be successful as a Buyer, you will need: * At least 4 years of experience in a buyer or purchasing role * Advanced Excel skills * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail * The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks * Experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable * A degree in a business-related subject would be an advantage Why Should You Apply?
