Forklift Operative - Nights

Aviation Recruitment Network have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Forklift operatives to work for a leading cargo company in Colnbrook, Slough. They are one of the biggest cargo companies in the UK and are currently looking to hire for multiple shifts and roles. The ideal candidate will have minimum 1 years cargo experience and will understand working with a Xray screening machine as an advantage. This is a fixed shift pattern from (Apply online only) or (Apply online only). Salary of £28k up to £32k. Forklift operatives will receive: • Full training • Incentives once completion of probation • Progression opportunities long term within the company • Ability to up-skill as a FLT driver Forklift operatives duties and expectations: • Palatizing goods • Follow and enforce all internal procedures to ensure compliance in areas such as: o Health & safety o Dangerous goods o Aviation security o Temperature-controlled freight (e.g. pharmaceuticals) o High value freight • Prioritise incident prevention • Report all incidents or potential hazards immediately (anonymously if required) • Always adhere to all security procedures Skills and experience essential for Forklift operatives: • Experience of working in a busy manual environment • Attention to detail • Ability to communicate with all levels appropriately both written and verbally • 6 months Forklift experience • Logical and systematic thinking to solve problems • Ability to work flexibly and deal with problems immediately If you feel you have the skills and experience for the Forklift Operative position then contact our Heathrow branch today and speak to Yasmin or click to apply.
