Department: Director, Finance Job ID: 16472916Industry Sector: Public (Hospital, Municipal, Education, Healthcare)Compensation: $150,000-$170,000 plus excellent benefits and pension planLocation: York hybrid ON-SITE 3-4 days a week and full time hoursOur client has recently joined forces with the biggest network of hospitals in Canada and is seeking an independent Director, Finance to join their world class health center. Reporting to the VP Finance and CFO, you will be responsible for FP&A, financial modeling, capital budgeting, financial and organizational performance reporting. You will provide  leadership and direction on management issues, and   day-to-day management of the finance functions for the organization. Responsibilities include:Leading annual and multi-year operating and capital budgeting processesLeading detailed monthly, quarterly and annual reportingMonitoring compliance and mitigating risk.Forecasting and managing cash flow, including receivables and payables management.Working with the Vice President, Finance and CFO to consult, identify and execute on opportunities to maximize on all revenue sources.Managing the financial records and reporting for all capital projects, including budget review and cash flow planning.Overseeing and directing all procurement and purchasing activities and logistics (distribution of materials and equipment) in the Centre, working with the shared services provider (SSW).Managing key professional relationships for the organization including but not limited to: insurance, benefit providers, auditors, and retail vendors.About you:CPA designated with 8+ years leadership experience within a healthcare or hospital environment.Knowledge of Not for Profit Accounting Guidelines and Ministry funding is required ( GAAP, PSAS, GEM)Strong business acumen with solid experience in business management, financial planning, performance measurement and budgeting functionsExcellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify trends, establish benchmarks, as well as provide credible analysis and business recommendationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex financial issues to a broad audienceExperienced with IBM TM1 and Cognos applications preferredFor a confidential  and detailed discussion about this opportunity, please apply ASAP to [email protected] is an excellent opportunity for that professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity!TSSHP#LI-TS1
