I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal region. Our team, experts in finance, speak your language and operate in your world. I am looking for a controller for my client in Montreal. This is a permanent position. Your responsibilities will be: - Supervise and manage all aspects of the accounting function. - Provide financial support to company executives, sales teams and operations. - Assist staff and other departments with accounting questions and problems. - Manage and supervise a diverse team of accountants, accounting technicians and management positions accounts payable and receivable. - Achieve efficiencies by realigning roles/positions and optimizing a modern ERP - Carry outthe implementation and monitoring of internal controls. - Play a key role in the ledger and journal review and approval process auxiliaries. - Coordinate and supervise the month-end closing process. - Prepare monthly financial reports and play a key role in financial planning and the analysis. - Work with management teams by analyzing, reporting and establishing dashboards to promote sound financial decision-making. - Support the annual budget process and monthly forecasts. - Participate in the annual audit process. - Assist with special reporting and analysis projects. - Perform other related tasks as needed or assigned.- Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA designation preferred or similar designation. - 3-5 years of experience in accounting in a management position. - Experience working in organizations of various sizes
