We have a wonderful opportunity for a Montessori Teacher to join a lovely nursery in the Harrow area. Set in a character property, this setting offers spacious, airy rooms and a large outdoor area, all extremely well resourced and with purpose-built facilities. They are close to the tube, are well served by local bus routes and can also offer free parking onsite.

You will fill a vital role in the educational and developmental journey of young children, with the Montessori approach emphasising self-directed learning, hands-on activities, and collaborative play. Their nurturing environment ensures that each child receives the individual attention they need to thrive.

This role is full time either 4 or 5 days per week. Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and stimulating child-centered learning environment, that promotes independent learning and exploration
  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
  • Guide and support children in their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Foster independence, curiosity, and respect for self and others
  • Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support the holistic development of each child
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Montessori Certification (AMI/AMS or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
