Our sales manager will lead a high-performing team of Sales Professionals and Business Development Representatives selling technology solutions in the luxury hospitality market. Operating within the Private Member Club space, the Sales Manager will focus their efforts on all aspects of team excellence including establishing and striving to exceed sales quotas, collaboration with other teams within the business, and delivery of exceptional solutions sales to our clients and prospects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with each sales representative to create and review sales quotas
  • Develop accurate pipelines in SalesForce.com to provide senior management insight on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Assist team in identifying business opportunities through industry/account research, qualification and discovery to establish prospects and customers’ needs and key drivers
  • Recognize trends in the market, and be fully knowledgeable of competitive activities in order to regularly communicate information to the sales and management team
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, industry tradeshows and reviewing professional publications
  • Develop, motivate and empower a dedicated and experienced team in exceeding targets, with an eye on continual quarter on quarter improvement.
  • Work with Sales Representatives to craft tailored presentations that showcase product differentiators and meet the specific key drivers required to win the business and successfully close sales
  • Coach the team on how to gain trust and position products as a solution sale that meets the customer/prospect’s determined strategic needs and goals
  • Develop ongoing training plans to ensure the team is up to date and able to demonstrate product functionality in a professional manner
  • Evaluate team members performance and develop improvement process where necessary
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in Marketing, Implementation, Support, Technology and Client Care to ensure client/prospect experience is the focal point of our interactions
  • Ensure the sales team set proper expectations with customers and prospects regarding our solutions, installation/training procedures and product support
  • Working with Chief Revenue Officer, manage expenses relating to sales in a responsible way, minimizing unnecessary expenses and maximizing profitability

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of software sales and sales management experience and/or equivalent experience. Strong leadership abilities
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding annual quota and managing a successful sales team
  • Solution selling experience preferred, with ability to focus on return on investment benefits
  • Background in, or robust understanding of Web Technology including Websites, Mobile Apps, and Email Marketing
  • Strong understanding of the technical details regarding SAAS software, computer hardware and third-party software products offered by the Company
  • Ability to train the sales team to develop strong presentations/demonstrations with emphasis value
  • Ability to both work independently as well as lead a successful sales team to meet corporate sales and reporting requirements
  • Desire to continually improve on existing account management and client service
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to share that knowledge with members of the sales team
  • The ability to communicate both written and verbally in a professional and courteous manner
  • Willingness to continually grow and enhance your own skills and encourage members of the sales team to do the same
  • Experience with Salesforce and MS Office software required
  • Ability to travel to Industry events, corporate offices and client sites
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups and educate others on this as well
  • Ability to direct others in a manner that drive results, brings out the best in people, and maintains a two-way dialogue
