Warehouse Operative

Pertemps Milton Keynes branch are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives for our client based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes
 
Monday to Friday l 0800 – 1700 l  £11.44ph  l  Immediate Start
 
 
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse facility.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Your attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workspace are essential to success in this role.
 
 
Duties will include:

• Efficiently and accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to company standards and procedures.
• Receive, unload, and check incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conudcting thorough and accurate stock checks.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 
 
 
Successful applicants:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Computer literacy, including using Microsoft Excel.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
