Transport Controller

We are urgently looking for a Nights Transport Controller for a busy Distribution Company in Milton Keynes  Night shift 4 on 4 off 19.00 to 07.00 In this role you will be the main liaison between the customer and the transport office. Act as the first point of contact for the customer and help resolve problems or concerns with the distribution of their products and materials. You will project a positive and professional image at all times, assisting the customer promptly and conducting all business in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner. Key Duties  Dealing with customer orders ensuring quanity and accuracy, delivery timelines communications to depot staff Creation of customer KPI records  Collation of accurate data to create customer invoices  Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all aspects of the company H&S Policy  Key Experience & Qualifications Good communication skills Excellent written and verbal skills are essential  Experience resolving disputes in a fair and calm manner and be able to identify issues, which could potentially become problematic and avoid situations arising  Report writing on customer service activity and proposed recommendations on how improvements could be made for the benefit of the company and its customers  Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and power point  Good spoken and written communication skills Strong analytical and numeracy skills Good level of financial understanding Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner Call me for more information Billie Cremin (phone number removed) INDMK
