The Opportunity
Hale Health is onboarding a curated group of Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) to its platform. Hale Health enables RDs and NDs to get matched with clients that fit their specialty, have benefits coverage for their services, and who are motivated to make a change. Our mission is to improve access to nutrition therapy by bringing together exceptional providers (RDs/NDs) and clients through thoughtful, effective matching.
We support both full-time and part-time providers. We help you provide evidence-based nutritional counseling over telehealth to patients seeking support with a variety of health conditions and goals. We help you build your practice by providing support on everything from finding and intaking new clients to back-end admin including handling all payments, and enabling direct billing with insurance providers. This lets you do what you love - taking good care of clients.
We’re looking for RDs and NDs who are exceptional practitioners and provide a strong client experience. We’re looking for practitioners who care a lot about helping their clients, and who are excited to join a startup (backed by some of Canada’s top entrepreneurs and doctors).

About You
- Licensed Registered Dietitian and/or Naturopathic Doctor
- Looking to build or expand a private practice
- You are an amazing practitioner but would rather not deal with the “business stuff”
- You want a place to practice and grow professionally, but want to retain the independence and flexibility of being ‘out on your own’

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct counseling sessions with clients using an evidence-based and patient-centric approach to care.
- Demonstrate strong clinical and counseling skills, leading with empathy and kindness.
- Help patients get to the root of their health concerns to create sustainable behavior changes rather than taking a short-term fix approach.
- Serve patients with high standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics, with the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.
- Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition counseling approaches and modalities.
- Complete session documentation (including clinical notes, patient communication, and care team follow-up messages) in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date on current nutrition topics.
