Property Services Manager *Hybrid / flexible working* *Local Government* *£65-68k* *Hertfordshire* The role: Are you ready to play a crucial role in shaping the future of property services within a Local Council? We are looking for an exceptional Property Services Manager to take the lead in strategically managing and delivering the commercial property portfolio. This is an opportunity for a visionary professional with a strong background in Building Surveying, a strategic mindset, and exemplary leadership skills. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals (Team of 5), driving the effective management, maintenance, and development of our Council's commercial properties. Your leadership will ensure regulatory compliance and the delivery of outstanding services to both internal and external stakeholders. You will lead on the management and delivery of a capital/planned investment programme for the council's property portfolio You will be instrumental in maintaining an affordable, efficient, and well-managed estate that meets the needs of our community. Key Skills and Experience: Degree level qualification in Building Surveying or CIOB Building Membership of the related professional institute - RIBA, RICS or CIOB Knowledge of compliance and health and safety in procurement and construction. Experience in the preparation of drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities, schedules of rates, types of agreements, and tendering contracts. Knowledge of building legislation including Planning, Building Regulations, CDM, Party Wall Act as well as extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation IT proficiency including CAD Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer
