Design Engineer

Position: Design Engineer Location: Coventry Salary: £35,000 Join a leading engineering firm dedicated to delivering top-notch solutions to our blue-chip clients who demand the very best. Our focus is on performance and innovation, and they are seeking a talented design engineer to join dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Prototype Development: Engage in the product development process from concept through prototyping, testing, and validation. Engineering Drawings: Produce detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and build procedures for production with precision and attention to detail. Quality Documentation: Develop BOMs, data sheets, and other quality documentation to meet in-house requirements. Issue Resolution: Analyze and resolve design issues efficiently. Testing: Scope and run a range of tests both in-house and with external test houses, including fire tests, nozzle testing, seatbelt harness tensile tests, etc.Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering design experience. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor CAD or similar software. Experience with Progress Plus or similar software. Desirable experience in CFD. Beneficial engineering test experience.Why Join?
