Senior Associate Consultant - Construction Claims and Disputes

The Opportunity:

Due to HKA’s continued growthin North America, we are looking to add a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Consultant to our Construction Claims and Disputes team in Montreal. This is an essential role to the team, with project ownership, client interaction/ relationship building and internal stakeholder interaction requiring your drive, your aligned experience and attention to detail.

Skills and Experience:

• Native or Professional level fluency in French/English
• Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar
• Educational or Professional Experience in Construction Claims
• 2+ Years Experience in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, and/or Contract Management
• Basic knowledge of forensic delay analysis technics and analytical approaches for advancing or defending construction claims.
• Familiarity with project control scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• A command of common Microsoft Excel functionality

L'opportunité:

En raison de la croissance continue de HKA en Amérique du Nord, nous cherchons à ajouter un consultant dynamique et expérimenté au niveau de Consultant Adjoint Sénior à notre équipe à Montréal. Il s'agit d'un rôle essentiel pour l'équipe, impliquant la gestion de mandats, l'interaction et le développement de relations avec les clients et l'interaction avec les parties prenantes internes.

Qualifications et expérience:

• Baccalauréat ou niveau supérieur en génie dans un domaine pertinent avec plus de 2 ans d'expérience dans le secteur de la construction et/ou de l’ingénierie.

• Connaissance et expérience des concepts de la méthode du chemin critique avec un logiciel de planification tel que Microsoft Project et Primavera P6.

• Un niveau intermédiaire d'expertise dans Microsoft Excel.

• Expérience avec Microsoft Project.

• Certifications pertinentes telles que PMP, EVP ou PSP, un atout.

• Connaissance technique des méthodes d'analyse de retard rétrospectives et des approches analytiques pour préparer ou analyser des réclamations et des rapports d’expertise de construction, un atout.

• Expérience en estimation et contrôle de coûts de construction, un atout.
