Project Quantity Surveyor - Newcastle upon Tyne - Permanent staff position - Up to £45,000 a year An experienced Project Quantity Surveyor is wanted to join a leading UK infrastructure civils company. Based from their new office in Newcastle upon Tyne, you will primarily be tasked with ensuring projects are on time, budget and on customer specification. What You’ll Bring to the Team · Previous experience in a QS role · Chartered membership of the RCIS would be beneficial · Experience managing contracts and financial reporting · Strong financial modelling and analytical skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with project stakeholders. · A proactive and problem-solving approach with a keen eye for detail. What You’ll Be Doing · Collaborating with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to assess project financial needs. · Analysing contracts (NEC, Bespoke, JCT, etc.) for risks and opportunities · Managing project scope changes and client enquiries during the bidding process. · Overseeing project handover from pre-construction to construction. · Managing project cash flow based on project plans. · Cost-to-Complete reports · Weekly commercial reports · Overseeing project procurement For further details, please apply or contact Lisa Ray at Pin Point Recruitment for more details
