Are you an Estimator working within the construction/infrastructure sector, looking to join an established contractor? Interested in working for a contractor with an excellent preconstruction team? A groundworks and frames contractor, who have an excellent forward order book, are looking to expand their team in the London division. They are seeking a dynamic, swithced-on and highly ambitious Estimator. The successful candidate will be offered a strong career path which will lead to management level with the continued expansion of the company. As the Estimator in this role, your duties will be (but not limited to) the following: Ensuring that tenders are complete and submitted on time Identifying client requirements and developing the best offer to meet them Working with the designer on D&B contracts Liaising with the commercial and the procurement department Quantity take offs Evaluating the programme requirements, developing methods of construction and suitable techniques to enable efficient cost-effective resource levels to win bidsWhat you will receive: A competitive salary and accompanying package A positive working environment The opportunity to grow with a growing business A clear progression path onto the next stage in your careerThe ideal candidate will have: A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying Ability to show previous experience gained in working on infrastructure projects Great verbal and written communication skills A full UK driving license If you feel this opportunity is something you could envisage yourself in, please do not hesitate to apply!
