About the role: We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) starting in November 2024. You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team, working in a classroom with a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The role has become available due to a recent expansion of our teaching staff. You’ll be part of a school community that values strong relationships with parents and a commitment to raising attainment. Application Requirements: • We are looking for a qualified teacher with at least 2 years of experience in primary education, preferably within Key Stage 2. • The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a proven track record in raising student achievement. • The ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL). • The interview process will consist of two stages, including a teaching demonstration and a panel interview. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the varying abilities within the classroom, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. • Assess and Track Student Progress: Regularly assess students’ work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of their progress to inform future teaching. • Support Students with SEN and EAL: Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL), fostering an inclusive learning environment. • Collaborate with Parents and Staff: Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues, including Teaching Assistants, to support student learning and address any concerns or challenges.
