Senior Scrum Master

My client is a very well-funded financial services startup company and they are looking for a Scrum Master to join their team. Qualified candidates should have 8-10+ years of hands-on industry experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Technical Project Manager with at least one year of Agile Methodology experience. Experience working on high-performance / high-availability systems, trading systems and/or workflow environments are all pluses. Bachelor’s degree required, Scrum Master Certification is desired. The Scrum Master will be responsible for establishing best practices, promoting agile methodologies, gathering and documenting requirements from internal stakeholders and the product team, as well as communicating those concepts and ideas between internal and external parties. The Scrum Master will help steer the direction of multiple engineering projects simultaneously as well as manage tasks, stories, sprints, etc. and must have experience with agile methodology. Additionally, the Scrum Master will contribute to the ongoing enhancement and optimization of the development process and methodology to ensure efficient teamwork. Qualified candidates will demonstrate solutions-oriented thinking, strong organization and communication skills and a natural curiosity and problem-solving skill set.
