Vacancy ref: JR1850 Vacancy: Warehouse Assistant x 2 Location: Feltham, Middlesex Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm Salary: £25,900 per annum, full time permanent position + potential annual bonus + annual salary review Start: ASAP Our client, in the Feltham area, is looking for a warehouse assistant with a great attitude to join a small team of staff in their business. The business is well established but has seen considerable growth and expansion in the last 4 years including the addition of a distribution centre in Yorkshire. The warehouse assistant will work in conjunction with the warehouse manager and small team of staff and will be responsible for: Displaying excellent customer service skills - there are customers that collect from their warehouse Loading vehicles in a manner that allows the driver to unload in a logical manner Order picking and wrapping, labelling, and shipping Operating forklift and other machinery - all training can be provided although some experience would be advantageous Responsible for quality control and ensure that no damaged products are sent to customers Cleaning and maintaining work area and machinery Maintain health and safety standards Ensure all orders are delivered on time Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy Liaising with staff and managers to ensure that the above tasks are completed efficiently Requirement: A willingness to learn is an absolute must have. Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills Physically fit as the role will require manual handling of heavy, bulky products Dependable and Reliable Computer skills may be required The ideal candidate will have great initiative with a can-do attitude, happy to work in a small team, be punctual and reliable and be capable of working in a physical role. A flexible attitude to your work and helping wherever required will give you a distinct advantage. Starting salary: £25,900 per annum + benefits + potential annual bonus. Some overtime may also be available if desired. Salaries are reviewed on an annual basis.
