Job Description

Colchester United Community Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Programmes Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Education Team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our education programmes, including the delivery of projects and services to schools and community groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme Development: Develop and enhance new and existing education programmes to meet the needs of our partner schools and community groups.
  • Programme Delivery: Deliver high-quality education programmes and services to schools and community groups, including the development of project plans and budgets.
  • Partnership Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner schools and community groups, including the identification of new partnership opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of education programme staff, including the development of team plans and budgets.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: NGB level 2 Coaching Award (e.g. UEFA C Football Coaching License/Level 2 Multi Skills Coaching Award), FA Safeguarding Children Certificate, FA Introduction to First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in education programme development and delivery, including experience working with schools and community groups.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
