Job Requirements / Description
An Electronics Engineer with a RF bias is required for a long term contract assignment based out of Bristol or Stevenage Overview of department: The RF Group within the Seeker and Data Link Systems Dept is responsible for a variety of RF work including RCS prediction and measurement, Antennas, RF Testing, Radar System and Radio altimeters. Skillset/experience required: * Ideally, degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience in electronic design, development and delivery; preferably in defence or related industry. * Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring. * Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products * Familiar with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies * Practical skills - soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly * Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters * Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD Modis International Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers in the UK.
