A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor who has a strong track record of delivering high quality projects across the UK is currently looking for a Design Coordinator to join their new £68m industrial project in Tunbridge Wells About the role This large-scale industrial project features a substantial groundworks package with 500,000 Sqft of industrial space, as part of a collaborative multi-disciplined team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this project. Responsibilities of the Design Coordinator Assist the Design Manager in Coordinating design activities, ensuring that design work aligns with the project goals, timelines and budgets Manage the flow of design information between project stakeholders, ensuring that drawings and specifications are up-to-date and accurate Conduct design reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements Support the site team by providing technical input Assist in tracking design progress Requirements for the Design Coordinator Proven experience as a Design Coordinator or in a similar role within the construction industry Strong understanding of design processes, construction techniques and industry regulations Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate various stakeholders Proficiency in design software and document management systems Relevant qualifications in architecture or engineering are desirableWhat we offer This opportunity comes with a competitive salary and package including car allowance, mileage paid, Private health insurance and bonus.
