Head Hunted Recruitment are working exclusively with an award winning business who are one of the largest in their sector and boasting a strong market presence, the company are in the process of hiring an experienced Merchandiser to join their expanding team. As a company Merchandiser you will be operating from a brand-new purpose-built mobile showroom visiting customer sites throughout the UK and promoting sales propositions as well as building networks and fostering excellent relationships. When not out in the mobile showroom the Merchandiser will be working out of the head office in Watton, Norfolk booking and generating mobile showroom visits assisting the sales agents and liaising with the Senior Trade and Wholesale Co-ordinator on outcomes and actions. The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that the right amount of the companies off shelf displays are built, branded, set up and stocked to the correct planogram. Also making sure that a cycle plan for “In Season Best Sellers” on and off shelf are maintained and changed as per customer requirements. Liaising with the UK Northern and Southern Sales Managers on which wholesaler to collect in season best seller stock. The decisions made by the Merchandiser are crucial to the success of the business. The goal is to provide the best possible service to our customers, so we are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, have strong interpersonal skills, and know how to establish trust. Merchandiser Job Responsibilities: * Safely drive mobile showroom to existing and prospective customer destinations or trade shows within identified timelines * Needs to be able to open, dress and set up mobile showroom at venues as well as ensure well stocked at all times. * Continuously looking for new opportunities and reporting back to Senior Managers * Advising customers of promotions and introduction of new products * Working from the Head Office placing phone calls to existing and potential customers from a current database. * Keep accurate records of meetings, calls and record useful information. * Communicate any problems, concerns, or questions to your line manager. * To administrate the diary for the vehicle in conjunction with the Senior Trade and Wholesale Co-ordinator. * To ensure vehicle maintenance is checked/managed appropriately. * In-store on and off shelf merchandising. Merchandiser Relevant Skills and Experience: * An energetic, motivated and tenacious individual with a proven past in merchandising. * We’re looking for a motivated candidate who gets inspired by the idea of nurturing existing customers relationships and contributing to the growth of the company’s client base. * Full clean UK driving license and entitlement to drive a rigid 3.5 tonne vehicle. * Ability and willingness to stay away from home overnight. * Ability to forecast and measure performance from lead generation through to close. * Serve as a key ambassador and spokesperson for the company in building the brand. Merchandiser KPI's: * Maintaining showroom diary. * Monthly report on customers contacted, visited and outcome with follow-up plan. * Attending merchandising appointments. * Booking mobile showroom, attending appointments and merchandising * Ensuring the vehicle is kept busy with a minimum of 10 appointments a week. This is an office based position (when not in the mobile showroom) and comes with an excellent salary of £28K per annum DOE plus sustenance allowance.
