Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Production Assistant Manager based in a Post Fabrication workshop on behalf of our client in Wolverhampton. We’re looking to recruit a professional, and experienced Assistant Production Manager to lead our Post-Fab area, to co-ordinate, manage and improve all elements of production and delivery within our business. Key Responsibilities * To ensure pre-fab supports the production schedule in the most efficient and effective manner * Communication to team on key matters * To lead the development of the assembly team into a well organised and highly efficient post-fabrication area * Mentoring and coaching team members * Daily audits * To manage equipment, people and resources in the Post-Fab area to maximise up-time in the most cost effective manner. * CI and 5s promotion * Recruitment activity, i.e., interviewing new hires What we require from you * Worked within Steel industry, Automotive or similar environment * Counterbalance forklift & VNA Licences * Leadership qualification (internal or external) * Min two years people management experience, * Experience working in a busy, high volume position * Ability to mentor a team * Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively, i.e., team briefs Please click to apply or call us on (phone number removed) for more information
