Music Teacher

Music Teacher Required – Scunthorpe Location: Scunthorpe Pay: Qualified Teachers: £170 - £230 per day & Unqualified Teachers: £130 - £150 per day We are seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join one of our fantastic secondary schools in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity and offers the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and creative music lessons to students in line with the national curriculum. * Create an environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for music. * Plan, prepare, and assess student work to ensure progression and development. * Support students in performance opportunities and extracurricular music activities. * Long-term cover: Take on additional responsibilities such as contributing to whole school events, managing school music resources, and mentoring students interested in music beyond the classroom. Requirements: * Previous experience in education, either as a teacher or through relevant placements. * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not mandatory. * Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Provide Education).
