Job Requirements / Description

Financial Controller sought to lead growing finance team, implement processes and controls, and support commercial decision making in a rapidly expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish company-wide financial objectives, targets, and develop budgets
  • Lead and develop a growing finance team
  • Create and maintain an executive dashboard with key KPIs for use by the CEO
  • Provide and upgrade existing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports on the financial performance across the business
  • Attend weekly Finance meetings, demonstrating the company's financial performance and the finance function's performance to the Board
  • Work with external advisors to prepare and submit annual Corporation Tax returns and ensure quarterly VAT returns are completed

Requirements:

  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or similar qualification with relevant experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role in industry
  • Strong finance systems experience, preferably Xero, and intermediate to advanced Excel experience
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
