ResponsibilitiesABOUT THE JOB: The Finance Function of Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS), is a global organization with local presence, providing the same set of services through global and efficient processes and consistent norms, leveraging on production hubs.The Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) department is the sole provider of actionable financial reports and analysis to assist GBIS and SG management in steering the financial performance of the Americas. In this end, FPA consolidates the financials for management reporting, leads the Americas Budget process, prepares forecasts, produces financial trend analysis, certifies GBIS costs, contributes to the monthly closings, ensures alignment with norms around performance management analyzes and presents GBIS financial performance to senior management.Our Core Missions in the Americas are: Quality and timeliness of GBIS financial statements and dashboards. Assisting GBIS management and all Business Lines in their steering with actionable reports on financial performance and forecasts; Financial communication and presentation of the forecasts and trends; Co-ordinating the Americas Budget process and support the forecasting exercise. What will be your DAY-TO-DAY? For our Services companies providing support in IT, Infrastructure, Operations, Accounting and Finance, Compliance, Credit Analysis, etc.Financial Performance Analysis Define and provide actionable reports and analysis to assist GBIS support functions management in their financial steering Serve as a Point of Contact for all financial aggregates with the regional and local management in Canada. Drive the local performance analysis Strong collaboration with the FP&A team in New York as well the Accounts Payables (AP) team and the Legal entity controllers in Canada to ensure optimal quality in the production of reports and other input data in the FP&A processes Prepare and present monthly financial management reporting including gap analysis of Budget trajectories vs prior years, vs. forecast and prior strategic plans to business partners Financial reporting, including providing variance analysis of actuals to budget, coordinating the Forecast exercise, providing commentary on key cost drivers, explaining the monthly results and presenting monthly reports to key stake holders of SG, locally in Canada, AMER and to Global counterparts in Paris. Presentation of the monthly results and costs trends to all the concerned business lines. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight timeframes, ability to organize and prioritize to move tasks forward and complete them in a time efficient manner. Profile requiredSkills and Qualifications:Must Have: 1. Accounting knowledge, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting, Data management 2. Bachelor’s degree3. Good analytical, presentation and communication skills4. General/ Technical Skills: well organized and detail oriented, must be able to perform multiple tasks and adapt to a changing work environment.5. General/Technical Skills: Ability to work independently with tight deadlines6. Strong system skills and knowledge for Financial Modelling, PowerBI Report Creation, Managing Data, Power Query Data manipulation and Alteryx7. Years of Experience 5 years +8. Demonstrate the ability to work within a Team9. An energetic and determined attitude10. Adaptability and willingness to work with people from different cultures.Nice to Have:11.
