Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Summary Metro Welding Supply is the largest and fastest growing independent gas distributor and welding supply/equipment provider in Southeast Michigan. Metro Welding Supply, family owned and operated since 1937, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate. Paid training. Great working environment. Responsibilities Pull boxes per pick list and stage them to ship. Unload containers at the dock. Operate a hi-lo. Physical inventory and cycle count. Pulling product for quality/sort activities as needed. Label material. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license. Must maintain proper attendance. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance. Basic computer skills. Warehouse / S&R experience a plus. Prior industry experience is a plus, but not necessary.
