Manager, Fund Finance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager in Fund Finance to join a leading private equity firm. This role is based in the vibrant city of Toronto and offers the chance to work with various corporate groups and third-party vendors. The successful candidate will primarily focus on fund accounting and support for closed-end private equity funds.What you'll do:Review accruals, billings, management fee calculations, investment ledgers, and waterfall calculations for several funds and their related entities.Support Fund Managers throughout quarter-end and year-end processes.Liaise with fund auditors throughout the year-end process.Oversee all ongoing reporting deliverables of the Funds, including compliance certifications and regulatory reporting.Monitor, assess and implement new accounting pronouncements impacting the Funds under US GAAP, IFRS and Canadian GAAP.Support client service team in the completion of investor inquiries.Assist with special projects led by the Private Equity Fund Finance Team.What you bring:CPA PreferredMinimum 3 years related experienceStrong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Canadian GAAP reporting guidelinesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to self-start, multi-task, and meet deadlinesEntrepreneurial, team-oriented work ethicWhat's next:Ready to take the next step in your career?
