Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Position Summary:

As a Marketing Coordinator with a focus on website development and management, you will play a crucial role in driving our online presence and digital customer experience. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company website, managing our customer portal, and supporting various digital marketing initiatives. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development and Management:

  • Design and Development:Work with web developers and designers to create, update, and maintain the company's website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand identity.
  • Content Management:Create, edit, and optimize website content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and multimedia, ensuring SEO best practices are followed.
  • Performance Monitoring:Use analytics tools to monitor website performance, user engagement, and traffic trends. Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvements.
  • Technical Support:Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
  • Project Coordination:Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage web development projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.

Customer Portal Management:

  • Portal Development:Coordinate the design and implementation of a customer portal, working closely with IT and external developers to ensure it meets customer needs and integrates with existing systems.
  • User Experience:Ensure the customer portal provides a seamless and intuitive experience, including easy access to account information, order history, and support resources.
  • Content Updates:Regularly update portal content, including FAQs, product updates, and other relevant information to keep customers informed and engaged.
  • Customer Support:Assist customers in using the portal, addressing any issues or feedback to continuously improve the user experience.

Digital Marketing:

  • Campaign Coordination:Planning, executing, and tracking digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and search engines.
  • Content Creation:Support the creation of engaging content for digital marketing initiatives, including blog posts, social media updates, sales flyers, and product catalogues.
  • Market Research:Conduct research to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Analytics and Reporting:Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and basic web development skills are required.
  • Familiarity with customer portal management and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools is advantageous.
