Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Addition+.

This exciting opportunity will see you working with a bespoke IT Consultancy providing technical and business consulting to secure clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure.
• Collaborate with team members to deploy and manage applications using Docker containers.
• Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate deployment processes and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Implement robust monitoring solutions - Prometheus, Grafana.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Git version control system.
• Experience designing and testing monitoring systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (Azure certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools, especially Terraform.
• Proficiency in containerisation technologies such as Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with Azure DevOps.
• Active SC Clearance – MUST HAVE.
