Our clients are looking for a Estimator in Harlow. The role is a temp basis to permanent contract for a confident, and motivated individual. The ideal candidate will come with a refurbishment, fit out background. We are looking for a certain candidate who is able to work well on their own initiative and as part of a team, along with this you will have good communication skills and be able to approach completion of projects in a organised way. You will be required to maintain the highest quality standards. Job description: Fully trained experienced estimator-to be found and employed within the next 6 months to work alongside our existing estimating team a. Familiar with Conquest estimating system b.Break down specification and drawings into subcontract packages. Send out to subcontractors and obtain prices for the work. c. Carry out site visit and site measure. d.Analysis of subcontract prices. e. Liaise with client to obtain access and information during tender period. f. Knowledge of SMM6 and 7. Ability to carry out own take off of the works and form into a BOQ. g.Pricing of basic Mechanical and Electrical work and other building sub-trades an advantage. h. Provide final tender document for consideration of Directors/Contracts Managers. i.Provide rates/composite prices for Contracts managers. j.Carry out post tender negotiations with Directors/CM and potential client. k.
