As a Software Developer on the Workflows team, you'll use your strong system software architecture and programming skills to help us develop event-driven solutions to support the advancement of precision health by closing the gap between research and care.ResponsibilitiesWrite code most of the time!Work closely with data science, UX, hardware, mobile, and firmware engineers to create highly integrated, novel products.Collaborate with teammates across the Research org to advance our development practices.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.5+ years of experience in software development.Experience delivering software using a general purpose programming language (e.g., Go, C/C++, Java, C#).Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience with Go, SQL and/or Java.Hands on experience building event-driven applications and/or micro services.Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.Experience with cloud computing platforms such as GCP or AWS.Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).Why Join UsBuild What’s Vital.At Verily, you are a part of something bigger.
