At UCEN Manchester we have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Graphic Design Tutor to join our delivery team. The BA (Hons) Graphic Design & Branding course (accredited by Sheffield Hallam University) is a progressive industry focused course centred around outward facing experiences and industry relationships that enrich the students' experiences course and profile What we are looking for We are seeking an experienced qualified Sessional Graphic Design Tutor who has passion, drive and enthusiasm to support and ensure their students receive the best possible education experience. The Sessional Lecturer post will be responsible for delivering sessions for specific module/s, managing tutorials and the full assessment and quality cycle associated with the module/s. The Lecturer will also be expected to contribute to the development of course content and learning materials in line with the program's objectives and to participate in relevant departmental meetings and activities. This role is permanent, sessional (ADHOC) basis. To do this successfully you`ll need: Experience teaching at the undergraduate level in graphic design, branding, or a related field A degree or higher in a Graphic Design / Experience in the graphic design industry Experience teaching / using After Effects, XD or Figma, and other print-based Adobe applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Experience with online learning management systems is desirable Experience engaging with diverse student populations and promoting inclusivity and equity English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and aboveAbout us The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester.
