Brakes, a leading UK food distributor, is seeking a skilled Change Communications Executive to join its team on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive change communications strategy to support the company's transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing a holistic change communications plan to engage frontline colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with operational, HR, and communications teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including programme sponsors and transformation workstreams.
  • Developing and delivering engaging content, including written communications, audio-visual materials, and events.
  • Ensuring the communications strategy drives engagement and support for transformation initiatives.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced change communications professional with a proven track record of managing communications in a large complex organization. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading communications for large-scale transformation programmes and embedding them.

The successful candidate will be a strong and persuasive communicator with excellent written and presentation skills. They will be highly organized, with a drive for simplicity and pragmatic outcomes.
