Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday + overtime during busy periods Salary: £33,000 - £39,500 depending on experience Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, Overtime available, company pension scheme, sick pay, free on site parking, Bupa salary sacrifice scheme, PPE and uniform provided, social events Duration: Permanent Our client based on the outskirts of Cambridge is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias. You will be a good communicator and happy to work in and out of doors in all conditions. Ideally you will have an 18th edition qualification, however the company are able to put the right candidate thorough this. Who are we? Duties to Include: * Carry out pre-planned maintenance according to a detailed service plan. * Work around the operational needs of the plant to ensure all machines are kept serviced and in good condition. * Comply to the companies Health and Safety guidelines and recommend improvements where required. * Attend weekly meetings to plan work and report any issues or required shutdowns * Keep accurate records of works. * Control a stock level of spares and consumables through record keeping. What we are looking for: * Basic Fabrications skills * Previous relevant engineering experience. * A positive attitude towards all work and challenges. * The ability to meet set deadlines. * Flexible and able to work extra hours during busy times. * Able to work at height * A good level of physical fitness.
