About the role: As a KS1 Teacher at our wonderful school in Colindale, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds during the crucial early years of their education. This part-time role is perfect for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about making learning fun and engaging. You will be responsible for delivering the national curriculum to a diverse group of students, using innovative teaching methods to cater to all learning styles. Application Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold a valid QTS and have experience teaching in a primary school setting. • Experience: Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers. • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. • Commitment to Inclusion: A passion for creating an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and deliver lessons that are engaging, challenging, and accessible for all students in Key Stage 1. • Assess and Monitor Progress: Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback to help each child reach their full potential. • Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and positive behavior. • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
